 Mmmmm Turkey Burgers!!
Just wanted to pass on this gem of a find in your local freezer section of the super market.
Jennie-O Turkey Burgers!!
- First of all you at the local Super Walmart a box of 12 runs about $4 so they are super cheap to buy.
- Secondly each burger contains 19grams of Protien, 0 grams of carbs and only 9 grams of fat.
- Last of all, even being flash frozen they only have 90mg of soduim per burger so you not going to retain water like a bloated pig.
A great and cheap source of protien IMHO. 228 grams for only $4-$6 is a deal if you ask and a change up from chicken is always wanted.

Turkey burgers aren't exactly tasty, imo. Just not something for me.

Again I get mine super cheap at Wal Mart and I do like them with Honey Mustard, Barbacue Sauce or Ketchup. Hell I'm eating 4 for dinner right now.

Man I am with you on that. I have been eating those turkey burgers for a while on the Foreman. They have two kinds regular and some other kind with peppers and parmesan cheese in it. I prefer the seasoned kind.

Just got a 12 pack of these for $3.97... excellent deal.
I was wondering though, do they have the same nutrional value as chicken breasts?

Nothing beats skinless chicken breast but these are pretty damn good when your tired of eating chicken 3 times a day, 7 days a week.
Besides you should read the fact panel on everything before you buy it.

Does anyone else have oppinions as far as nutritional value of these turkey burgers versus boneless skinless chicken breasts?
Im just wondering because I like these turkey burgers better than the chicken breasts, and there easier and faster to make....
Thanks.

depends on which turkey burgers you get...some have 7grams of fat and some have like 1 gram of fat...not too sure about the protein but guessin it around the same.
