If I have a dieting weakness it is easily sugar...Been trying to avoid all sweets lately so I came up with this recipe to get me through. I just pop a couple of these in my mouth every once in a while as a "treat." Taste nearly identical to an ice cream sandwich.
Mini Protein “Ice Cream” Sandwiches Recipe
1 scoop Chocolate flavor Whey Protein (I'm using Sci Fit Econo Whey)
6 tablespoons Sugar Free CoolWhip
1 100 calorie pack Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps
Mix the whey with the coolwhip until it takes on a gooey consistency similar to melted marshmallows. Using two Chips Ahoy Thin Crisps, make sandwiches with the mix in the middle. Freeze and eat. It's best to make these on a plate or cookie sheet so you can peel them off. If you make them on foil or saran wrap they may get stuck.
